Date you ordered and received the phone vs. "will ship by" date

You are most definitely not alone! Most of us have people who don't understand our NEED for this phone.

We've seen quite a few people say the DInc Fairy has stopped by their house - BUT, you might want to start leaving a note on the door (if it's being delivered to your house) releasing the fedex guy from getting a signature. Otherwise you will have to wait even longer to go to the depot or wait for redelivery (the HORRORS!!!!)

Hey cryptic, the more the merrier! We all keep each other company while anxiously waiting for that golden moment of an email notification or the knock of the Fedex guy at the front door!

Cool Zebra Print case - delivered today
2 screen protectors (I'm really bad at applying them so I ordered an extra) - delivered today............

just waiting on my DInc.......please let it come by Friday at the latest
 
Well, two weeks have gone since my order (6/8) and I decided to give vzw a call for any updated info. The rep told me early July, as opposed to the 6/28 date that the web site said.

I asked about freebies like screen protectors etc. and he said they didn't have an official policy to give them, but that the reps may be given partial info so as to not give away the store. BTW, the rep was waiting for his Dinc too.

Oh well, will wait and see.
Watching clouds drift by with Dinc shapes embedded and Sense UI effects appearing. Need another Haiku please.

still waiting for my accessories, crystal clear via ebay(f*n korea it coming from) and innocase from amazon. innocase in next day or so (i hope) god only knows on the screenies from ebay.
And i just called verizon for the first time (was still a little ansy in me pansy, breathing fine now though, thanks mastermind) and all she could tell me was that it hasnt shipped yet and when it does your verizon account will show shipped in computers. CSR will then be able to provide you w/ a tracking number if you don't receive a shipping email.

When was your order date? Mine is 6/5 getting nervous that I won't receive it by Friday!. Also, is calling a CSR a waste of time for me at this point? I think following this forum gives you a better estimate on when you'll receive your phone.

I would NOT have the patience to wait for something from Korea - I always always check off only USA stuff on eBay - it's that AIGS thing again and having to wait for something to come from the other side of the damn world would KILL me.

In general we've seen shipments go out a day or two before your Ship By Date. So if you have overnight you have a really good chance.

In a local mall here in the Houston area they have a kiosk vendor installing the Zagg invisible shield. It was only like $20 for my HD Zune so I am guessing it will be around $40 which I am more than fine with since I would really mess it up and they know what they are doing....so you might check out your local mall....ours was by the movie theater area and were they ever busy....

SGB(or whatever its called) was out of stock and usa vendors wanted $24 for it so..... korea for $9 it is:mad:

Hoping that is true in my case, recently there was a post where a 6/1er received the phone 3 days early:mad::mad:. Figure its all about your location. I'm at 2 days before ship by and all CSR could tell me is.... nothing. :( If it has shipped they will know but couldn't give me any kind of update.
 
I ordered my DINC on 6/8 shiping date on website showed shipping as 6/28 (it was processed on the same day as ordered) I email vzw saturday and got an answer said the latest I should have my phone is 7/1 .possible a few days sooner .. maybe but forsure by 7/1.
Its already paid (charged to account an the bill came last week so I sent in payment already)

I read on another forum and seemed to me the accounts or charges that where paid seemed to get more quicker mailing . I dont know for sure tho just figure I would mention that ;)

I have to agree... I think a huge part of the variances in delivery dates are due to the location. I know I'd be upset if that happened to me... and who knows -- it still might!! :eek:
 
Just called CSR and they stated my phone was still on schedule to be shipped no later then 6/25 which is my estimated shipping date. I ordered my phone on 6/5. She said that more than likely i'll receive the phone on that date. I hope this helps all of us chill a little about shipping dates being pushed back.

ordered 6/1 in central US and no email yet and i TRY the FedEx trick ever hour by the hour and nothing there yet i am a little mad because they have pushed me back already

I have seen shipping notices come in about 3-4 hours for the day it is shipped. There is still a chance for shipping today.

I'm a 5/31 from west central IL, not too far from you, and still haven't received as much as a shipping notice either.
