Date you ordered and received the phone vs. "will ship by" date

I ordered on 6/10 and just found out estimated shipping on 7/9. VZW rep ordered hers last week and she's looking at a month wait.
 
I just called and they sead they do not know when the phone will ship out i am pissed they sead if i don't have it by Friday then the REP will step in

was your order also processed on the 10th? yikes

mine was processed on the 9th (ordered on the 8th) and i was kind of expecting it before the end of the month
 
Ordered 5/30 in store
promised ship date june 22nd
actual ship date june 19th
delivery date june 22nd by 7pm

read this thread almost every day since i ordered. No offense but ill b so happy when i never have to read it again. Good luck to all those still waiting.

Ordered mine over phone on 6/14 and was told 7/12 for a ship out date.....I am gonna lose my mind if I have to wait that long!!!!
 
I ordered my phone the morning of 6/16 online. I called to find out when payment was going to be taken and if I was going to be charged for the data plan that I wont currently be using. I was told that my payment would not be taken until the phone was shipped and I would not be billed for the additional data feature until the phone was activated. The estimated shipping was 7/8, which I could live with 2 1/2 weeks, a bit much but ok.

They took my payment on 6/17, phone was not shipped and when I called I was informed that they are going by when payment was taken to estimate the shipping date which moved my date to 7/15. A day shy of a full months wait. So naturally I complained and stated what I had been told previously about the payment not being taken until phone shipped and that it had an estimate shipping of 6/8 when I ordered.

I was given a $50 credit to my account for the inconvience and told that they could not gaurantee when my phone would ship. CSR told me to look for it between 7/8 and 7/15. If I dont get an email confirming shipping on 7/15 to give them a call.

I thought they were running a business not a guessing game???:mad:
 
Oh, along with all the other good news they gave me was this little tidbit.

If payment has already been taken and I cancel the order, say to get the phone somewhere that has it in stock, I would be charged a cancelation fee. :eek:

Not sure whats going on there. I thought you could cancel anytime before your phone/accessories shiped???
 
Ordered 5/29 over the phone. Expected to ship 6/22 to Clearwater, FL
Shipped Friday, 6/19, and my wife didn't tell me until yesterday morning.
Came today, 6/21.

Now just waiting for the battery to charge. How will I know it's ready if I don't turn it on?

Welcome to the DInc Nuthouse. We suffer from AIGS (American Instant Gratification Syndrome) and have been known to want to hurt the FedEx man in the hopes it will bring us our phones faster. Oh - and we have determined that Verizon will sometimes give you good info, but more often than not you can call 4 times in the same day and hang up with different info all 4 times

Honestly, You dont need to charge it before playing with it, Fire that thing up and enjoy I turned mine on and ran it for a while till it got low then played with it while its on the charger. Dont be scurred!
 
i also ordered 5/31 / 6/1... not a word.. nothing.. and im getting pissed cuz tmrw im leaving for florida.. there is gona be a fedex bombed if i dont get it tmrw.. xD.. how do i call verizon to check shipping status?
 
Has anyone received their phone without ever getting a notification for shipping? My phone is being delivered to my husband's job and we have been on vacation. I was wondering if it is sitting there already.
 
It would be interesting to know how much extra whampum VZ could have made if they allowed customers to buy onto a priority dilivery list lol. I've tossed a Jackson at a Maitre d before for a quicker and better table. That seems small change for a rush order on a "I'm going to die before I get it" phone. Twenty? ... thirty?... MORE????
A dollar a day seems a small price to save all the grief I've suffered. Two bucks .. three. That's up to sixty buckazoids lol.

I ordered on 6/1 in a Chicago corporate store and after reading your post called VZW to ask about my ship date. The Rep told me that it would ship out by 6/22 but not to get too excited as it may ship out as late as 6/23...did you modify something on your account...it may not have been "processed" until you paid the bill (that is if you charged it to your VZW account)
