Help Daylight Savings Time and EVO

Kelita

This morning, I got up and my Evo had the correct time. I looked at the clock a little bit ago and realized that my phone had gone back an hour. When I went into the settings, it had magically switched me to Alaska savings time. I'm in California. Anyone notice this changing on its own today?

I should also add that it was checked for "automatic" so it would use the network-provided values. I have unchecked that and selected my time zone manually so it won't do this again!

Had the exact same problem. Switched it off automatic, like you did, and it's back to the right time. I hate DST. I just might have to move back to Arizona.

My update worked just fine.

I wonder if those having issues do not Date & Time set to "use network-proved values"?

I had this happen to me two days in a row. I use my phone as my alarm and both days it was an hour behind on the clock, where in real time i was an hour later then it should of been. I had the clock set to automatic using network provided time.

Hopefully there is a fix or I guess I just have to have the time inputed without using the network provided values.
