Help Default apps popup

Everytime I get the popup to open something in another app, I select an app and it goes there, but not before it gives me an annoying popup about clearing default apps. Any recommendations?

I hate that behavior, and have yet to find any way to change it.
I have some things I want to be asked about every time but with the Note 5 that doesn't seem to be an option anymore.
Sometimes I want to open an email address with PayPal to send $, other times I want to send an email. The Note 5 insists I pick a default, and then I have to go clear it or do a copy/paste instead to use the other app.
This is totally broken. There needs to be a setting to control how this works.

Not perfect, but a big step forward, and certainly addresses the browser choice issue.
