Help Definition of text symbol

[Android Question]

Some of my text messages are getting labeled with a symbol: gray sideways triangle, a line under it, and then an odd-shaped rectangle. Does anyone know what this symbol means?

Almost sounds like a play/pause/stop icon.

Is it on the messages sent or the ones recieved?if its's on the ones recieved it probably a a media message tap on it to show a picture or video,if it's the messages sent try going into text message settings symbolized by three dots in the top right side corner of your screen and check the signature setting,maybe some symbols where typed accidentally while in that setting.
