Desperately need a t9 style keyboard for my 2.3 arc

I used to have the HTC_IME keyboard installed on my Hero and my X8 but i believe there isn't a version available yet for 2.3. Anyone have an ideas if they're gonna make a compatible version or not? If not, do they have any other suggestions of decent T9 keyboards?

I tried Better Keyboards version but it was garbage. I'm currently having to use swype but i'm not a big fan

You could try smart keyboard pro, that's got T9 that I used for ages (currently using it's compact querty layout)
