Help Device Manager

Does anyone use the Motorola Device Manager? If so, how well do you like it and how good does it work?

If not, what are you using in case you lose/theft your phone. I have used Lookout and Cerebus on the Strat, but never really needed, like loosing the phone or anything.

Any thoughts about this?

I use it on my activated Droid Maxx and un-activated Droid X and Droid Bionic.

You can ...
remotely find where the phone is located,
remotely cause the phone to ring,
remotely lock the phone, and
if previously enabled you can remotely instruct a Factory Data Reset.

I have not remotely locked a phone or done a Factory Data Reset yet.

So it's worth using? I guess I'll activate it on the MG. I just didn't know if it was any good.

If nothing else it is valuable when your phone gets misplaced ... like with a six year old who plays with it and forgets where it was left.
