Does activation effect available apps?

I have an original Droid X activated on Verizon and I have it setup with my Gmail account. I also bought a used Rezound to test out for a while and I've set that up with my Gmail account too. But I've noticed that I cannot download Asphalt Adrenaline 6 to the Rezound. I've searched online about Adrenaline 6 on the Rezound and it seems like it's available, so I don't understand why I can't see it? Does this have something to do with the Rezound not being activated on VZW's network?

I think it is because of the Rezound's resolution (720x1280).

I could download Asphalt 6 Adrenaline on my Desire HD (480x800) but not on my Sensation (540x960).
