Root Does Cyanogen Mod undervolt the battery?

I read that undervolting can screw the phone up if you get low signal, and a live in an area with poor coverage.

But I was watching a video demo of Cyanogen and the guy said it came with a kernal that undervolts the battery.

Is that true? If so, can I install CM without undervolting?

No it comes with a kernal that can be undervolted, but stock cm is not

Cyanogen's kernel that is included with his rom is undervolted, but it meets the qualcomm criteria; it is slightly undervolted (probably the best term used), but not heavily like the other unvervolted kernels available

i use this [.33.3 & .34-rc7]intersectRaven's Kernel (Hybrid AVS *Stable*) 05/10/2010 10:39pm - xda-developers on cyan5.0.6 .. 800mV CFS 33.3. He just came out with 33.4 Ill wait till the bugs are all out.
you can simply just flash this
