Does metro have EVDO

I live in a suburb in philly and data on my ascend without wifi is pretty bad. When I saw my friend with a pretty crappy verizon phone watch videos on it, the speed was very fast. I noticed that he had to evdo on his phone. Does metro have evdo and if not will they ever get it?

No, metro experimented with evdo but never rolled it out.

Your options are 2Gspeeds or LTE 4G speeds and currently there are only 2 4g metro phones.
