all you have to do is re-flash a rom. soft bricked isn't bricked but no i haven't tried the one click also don't see the point if it doesn't fix a actual bricked phone

I don't know if this is the right place for this post but I am starting to freah out. My admire is in a loop. I flashed a rom with oc kernel and the phone will not boot pass the RCH-720 screen. I tried to restore from back-up(i did a back-up)but CWM can't mount or open the recovery files.I reflashed CWM but got same error. I can get into download mode but how do i flash a kernel? Also does anyone have a metro pcs stock kernel?

did you use the right version of CWM? there are two version 5.0.2.7 and 5.0.2.8. from what ive seen roms that use the overclock kernel require the 5.0.2.8 version. if you just got the one from the sticky "odin clockwork recovery" then thats 5.0.2.7. try to do a factory reset and see if that fixes the mounting problem.you can also try to use the stock restore available to see if that works. http://androidforums.com/admire-all...m-backup-samsung-admire-2-3-4-stock-eh02.html

btw which rom did you try to flash, it helps to know. any information that you can give is helpful. i myself have had a bootloop and know whats its like to freak out from it lol

Thank you for your help. I read your post and I thought to go into CWM(5.0.2.7)and do as you said(factory reset)but i went into advanced restore and did a restore of the boot, system and cache each. !!It worked!! Thank you again!!
