Help Does the galaxy s D700 have Ice cream sandwich?

Hello all, been gone for a while, just picked up a used epic (SPH-D700) for my wife, it has gingerbread and says the software is up to date, I thought this phone could be upgraded to ice cream sandwich? thanks

I personally think it "definitely"cannot run ics (gingerbread is the ceiling)..but you never know if some developer with the same has made a custom ROM, just google it)
