Toward the end of January we learned that the Dropbox Android application had been downloaded 500 million times.
While this was a big feat for the company, it didn't tell us how many were actively using it(since it comes pre-installed on a number devices). Today though, the company has announced they now have over 500 million registered accounts for their cloud storage service.
