Help dropped samsung fascinate in water

i just dropped my phone in water about 20 minutes ago. i retrieved it immediately. i was drying the phone off and shaking it onto a towel, when the screen lighted up momentarily then went dark. i have not been able to turn the phone on again. what should i do?

Take out the battery, put the phone and battery in a bowl of rice. Leave it there for a few days.

Alternatively, if you have insurance, use it to get a replacement phone.
