Root Easy way to root MyTouch 3G Slide on 2.2.1?

Easy way without gold card or any other things that may confuse me! Its OK if you tell me how to un-update to 2.1..... anything that works.

One way ive found that is easy to root is using Z4root, but I dont know how it compares to the other ways. Its a one click root sorta thing.
