What apps are the ones that drain your battery life & ones that gets the cellphone warm?

You can check this out Settings>system>battery. Facebook is notorious for draining battery, that's the main one that springs to mind. I got an update to 5.1.1 today which now has an App optimiser to save battery power. Check for updates. If you have it its on the same screen as battery use as above.
