eliminate samsung remote?

Just wondering if there's a way to get rid of the remote application
I don't own a Samsung TVs, and nit planning on it.
So, is there a way to get rid of this, and other stock apps I don't need or want.
I'd prefer not to risk rooting.

Not without rooting. It's the only way. However, you can just leave them in your app drawer and ignore them.
