Help email attachments

I am having no luck at opening any email attachments to either of my emails. I have a gmail and an optonline email. I have changed them to receive no limit on send and receive. In optonline, I just keep getting an error. And in gmail, it downloads, than askes me where I want it saved, to either phone or SD card. I have saved it to both but I still cant find or view the email attachments.

Anybody have any ideas as to what I can do ?

you will need a file explorer from the market to browse to the download folder. (Astro, eStrongs etc).

It should be in /sdcard/downloads/
