Email deleting off server

[Android Question]

I have a Samsung Galaxy 4 mini. I have got a works email account and it deletes emails from the server when I delete from the handset. I do not want this. Any suggestions how to stop this as I've never had this with even Blackberries before

If it's a work email, I am going to assume it's an exchange account. If so, you may consider an alternative email app (at least for your work email) such as K-9 Mail.

I believe it has an option that you can specify "delete from server" or "don't delete from server".

I don't think that the default mail app has this option.
