Help email icons

I have only one email acct (gmail) but I have 2 email icons on my homescreen. One is the envelope with an orange paper coming out of it and the @ on the envelope and Email under it, the other is an envelope with an M coming out and Gmail under it. I'm confused

The orange one would be for other email accounts like yahoo or bellsouth or other providers. The one with the red M on it, if Gingerbread is anything like Froyo is for Gmail.

If you get another email account, say from an internet provider or other, I might suggest you try K9 Mail. It works so much better than the stock app did. In fact, I don't see why you couldn't use K9 or another program for accessing your GMail account.
