Help Email is not forwarding pics

I have been trying to forward emails with pictures to contacts but no one I send them to is able to see the pictures in the email. It's just a simple email forward. I called Verizon because I never had this issue with any other phone and they just sent me a link to something about Rich Text, Classic and HTML formatting. I'm pretty sure that is no longer a big issue in this century.

I also haven't been able to sync my email on the phone to the mailbox. I have sync in background as my options for all email folders but still have the issue. I don't see any other changeable options. Please help!
 
Called verizon. They said- go to browser- then menu- then more-then settings- scroll down to clear all and press. Once I did this my phone would send pictures again. If the memory is clogged with other data it will not send pics. Good luck.
