Help Ends Call After 30 sec

I have had a Samsung Galaxy ace5830i for about 6 weeks and I am about to return it for checking. I find that sometimes when I make or receive a call it just ends the call after about 30 sec and I have to call a 2nd time, At first I thought it was me touching the screen with my ear, but I cannot definitely tie this down as it only sometimes happens.

In the phone's options do you have the Power button on the side set to end-calls.I did this a couple of times on mine when this feature was enabled.I re-enabled it when I got a flip case as it's almost impossible for me to hit it accidentally now.

I assume from your reply it does it even with the power button call-stop disabled.If it's not a hardware fault then try switching the phone off and removing the battery for 30 seconds plus and then putting it back in and re-boot.It might clear the fault.

If no good then reinserting your service provider APN details may help.You could try a Factory reset but before you did that research what you need to back up using the forum search option and google.
