Evernote: Evernote, your very own Personal Assistant

With Evernote you are able to easily create notes and to-do lists and access them from anywhere you have access to the internet.

Using Evernote will basically allow you to write notes create a to-do list, and take pictures to go along with these notes and then you can access them from anywhere. There is more you can do but you need to be using it on your computer to access most of the features, the phone app version is mainly for speed and ease of access to Evernote. Though everything you do on Evernote is synced and you can access the information from whatever you may have Evernote on, be it your laptop, iPhone, iPad, Android, etc.
You can create very large to-do lists for anything you want, but if you do have a great many notes and lists then you might find that on the phone apps anyway it takes you little while to find the note you want, at least this is the case for the Android users anyway. As the iOS version is much cleaner and has quite a few more features with the free version of Evernote.

For example one nice feature is that when you take pictures using the iOS version Evernote will mark on a map where you took them. Which is a great feature which unfortunately isn?t on the Android app. Another great feature that uses the camera, is how you can take a picture of say the front cover of a film and Evernote can actually read the text on the picture, this allows you to make good use of the search feature which allows you to search for notes or images that you have made. Though for images you can search for words that are in the image, whether they are hand written or not. Though it does not always do it well, as its success can depend on your phones camera quality, how light or dark it is and just generally how clear the text is itself, though it does a great job.

I have to say it is a pretty good application it does its job well, although it does not have an extensive editing feature like the pc version does it still has a lot of useful tools, and a cool text reader when you take snapshots. So overall you have an easy to use application that is great if you like or need to take a lot of notes quick and easily and has a very nice interface that looks rather good. This can be seen as both a pro and a con but nothing really except from the app is stored so you can only access your information if you have access to the internet.

I give this app a 4/5 since the iOS version lacks to many features from the PC version and the Android lacks to many from the iOS version.
