Evo Design - Boost will it work outside USA

i came across a ebay seller selling boost mobile EVO Design. He claim in sale listing as IT WILL NOT WORK OUTSIDE USA .

Is it true ?

I second that. I am using it in Europe as we speak with a local sim with no problems.

There is no CDMA abroad. It works well for data. You need to have an appropriate sim and data plan. If the phone doesn't work right away, do not worry, it make take a few minutes to find the network/connection. Reboot the phone if you have to.
