It looks likes with the extended door the camera lens will no longer hit when placed on its back... Can anyone confirm this?

Your guess is as good as anybody's. The battery and door are not going to be commercially available until next month at the earliest.

Just got off the phone with a CS rep. I asked about the extended battery & cover . . . he said there are >1,900 in their (pre-distribution) warehouse. He tried changing his location code so he could order me one, but was unable. He mentioned that since I'm in Texas to ask my local store because regionally, there are different "rules" for who can order from which warehouses . . . I have to go by the store soon anyways so I'll ask when I do stop in.

HTC Incredible owners, as many of you know how frustrating it can be when the battery in your phone doesn't last enough to go through the day. We have been anxiously expecting to get some original HTC 2150mAh extended batteries for Droid Incredible around the end of May, however we have just learned that its release date has been pushed back to late July.

For more than few weeks we've had an estimated arrival date for HTC Droid Incredible 2150mAh extended battery around end of May. As of today it has been pushed back to late July 2010. We're not sure what has caused this delay, but this will definitely make some Incredible owners upset.

The batteries have been showing up in the system for quite some time now. CSRs are unable to order them for customers because they simply just are not there and what they are seeing just serves as a placeholder in the inventory system.
