Help Extended life battery???

On eBay, an outfit in Manchester, United Kingdom ("e-cell") offers a
2430MAH FL-53HN GOLD BATTERY FOR LG OPTIMUS 3D P920
Does anyone have any experience with this item? It looks interesting, BUT:
Is it dangerous? Liable to burn out the phone, or otherwise damage it??

There is a thread on xda about this battery:
2430Mah battery (same size as stock) - xda-developers

Apparently it's not as amazing as it looks, but might give you a few extra hours or could be good for a second to have incase your original dies and you need a quick charge.
