Anytime I go to "news feed" an error comes up that says "an error occured while fetching data [null]

Anybody know what is going on, or having this same issue?
 
Its the facebook app that came on the phone not the one from the market, so if i un-install it how would i install it again? cause i do not want the one from the market its got too many ads and sends you to the mobile site.
 
Hmm I've been having the same issue. When I try to refresh the news feed it gives null blah blah blah.

If I post something to news feed, and then refresh a lil later the feed will be there... weird. whatever, the mobile site works pretty good neway :)

But it would be nice if anyone knew how to fix (if it is to unistall and then reinstall where do you get the stock app?)
 
I am not given the option to uninstall. I have been using the mobile and the touch web basetil it gets fixed. But the touch sure is all kind of jacked up with pdates being all out of order
 
Get AppBrain and back up your apps. Link your phone book to your google account and format and reload. That's what Sprint made me do after ten minutes of other BS that wouldn't work and once that was done, facebook works fine.
 
you probably didn't have a good connection to the FB server. Just give it some time or try over wifi.

The new FB apps 1.3.xx aren't that great. I think it takes more load time.
 
FB is going through growing pains....it's posted all over the facebook developers pages. ALL carriers and phones have been experiencing issues for around 3 weeks now.

It comes and goes.
