Facebook error - fetching data?

Hey guys
Having problems loading my facebook app on galaxy s.
When I load it, it says
"an error occured while fetching data"
I have tried logging out/in, reboot, sync etc.
Anyone else having problems?
Is this a facebook thing or a problem with my phone?

This sounds like a network problem which is temp. But ... the Facebook app for Android has always been spotty at best.
 
Try one of two troubleshooting tips below:

1). Uninstall/reinstall the Facebook for Android application. 2). Log into your Facebook account via PC version and change your password.

If problem persists, then you might have an internet connection problems. Update data profile if possible.

I have done both of these and it still does it.
I can get onto my profile via my mobile browser. Its just the app which is coming up with the "error".

I am able to get onto other web pages no problem so it cant be a internet connection problem.
