Help Factory reset

Does one have to send phone to factory for a factory reset? I kept getting a phone storage low message and tried deleting some stuff and somehow deleted ringtones. I downloaded some ringtones from zedge but there is no place in settings to assign one to text messages.

Your problem is most likely (assuming stock ROM) the ever-growing alog files.
You will have to root the phone to permanently fix it.

But to answer your question, no. Factory reset is an option in settings-> Privacy to the best of my recollection. It will fix your problem temporarily, but it will return. There are many threads about it here.

I just do step two, but you can do them all to stop it forever
