firmware update for samsung galaxy s 5.0

hi anyone heard if a new firmware update for samsung galaxys 5.0 wifi is been made available? reason i ask is samsung support page says a upgrade is available, yet when you conncect to kies, it says firmware is up to date. current firmware is foryo. cheers
 
Release dates are different per region, then there's the fact that if your device was taken off a carrier, you'll have to wait for carrier approval.
 
It would probably make more sense to post this in the Galaxy Player forum. I assume you are in the UK (because you have Froyo) and there are some folks over there also from the UK. I haven't seen anything about an update being available for the Froyo units.

Have you talked to anyone at Samsung?
