Yes but in order to flash a stock firmware you need a stock recovery.

That's is true what is the phone doing if you have a rom running u can do the firmware update and it will give you the full stock do u need the web address to see what I am talking about
Are you trying to restore the device to stock? If so you can just use the unbricking method.

He is looking to completely unroot the phone and restore it back to how it was when he got it. That rom is stock but it's still rooted.

True but you can use Super SU to unroot it
