Root Followed process but phone dialing doesn't work

I'm sure I'm just missing something stupid here, but I can't figure out what it is. I did search the forums and look for solutions on Google to no avail. I have a Motorola Triumph that I just flashed to CM9. After it was done, the actual phone itself reports that I have 'no service'. When I try to get in to "mobile networks" in settings, it tells me that "unfortunately settings has closed".

Does anyone have an idea what might be happening here? I would really appreciate the help.

My model # is WX435 and the build date is 8/11. I'm with Virgin Mobile.

Which version did you download? I have a version that requires the setting.apk to be symlinked.

Try the latest tester on the MTDEV site and let me know how that goes in the CM9 thread.

I think you are on the version that is in the OP of the MTDEV CM9 thread. The OP download has no service. you should download one of the more recent "testers".

I need to get with g6o fix that. I'm going to see if I can at least modify the OP to stop this.

Thanks very much for the advice. I'm going to see what I can do. I'm concerned that I may have bricked it. I tried to revert it back to the original state using the backup created with CWM, but it just shows the Motorola logo. I can't get back into recovery mode anymore. Is there something I can do to hard reset the thing?

Pull battery.
Hold power button for a few seconds.
Install battery.
Simultaneously hold power and both volume buttons until recovery boots.

And if you can't get into recovery we would have to some hand holding to work through download mode.
