So I've set an unlock password (8 character password) but I also use the unlock pattern to unlock my phone. I still remember my unlock pattern, but now want to change my 8 character password. When I go to settings -> security. The only option I have is to "change unlock password". It requires me to enter the current password and the new password and confirm new password.
I don't remember my current password since I've been using the unlock pattern. Does anyone know anyway to reset the password? Or is hard reset my only option?
