Help Forum for Asus ZenPad 10 Z300?

The problem I have mainly is when I switch the Asus Zen on I have different screens.
Which I cant seem to get out of!
I just want it to be a simple start page the same as all the other Google tablets I have had.
Can you tell me how to stop these screens popping up please?

I don't have this particular tablet, but I'll take a stab in the dark. Are these screens on the lock screen or on the home screen? Have you tried changing to a 3rd party launcher like Nova Launcher, etc.? These screens could all be a part of the Asus UI.

Thank you for replying. They are on the home screen and appear when I first switch the tablet on.
They are also advertising games etc to buy.
I just want it to be the same as other tablets I have bought, to just switch it on and my home screen with all my apps appear.
The tablet I had before this one was also an Asus but was fine. None of the screens in the screenshots.

Changing the launcher is simple. It's just a matter of downloading a launcher from the Play Store and selecting it as the home screen. Not much to it. Nova Launcher is good and probably the free version would suffice for what you want. I also like L Launcher.
As far as trying to fix the launcher you do have now, I don't know how to bring up the launcher settings. What happens if you long press on an empty place on the screen? Does it bring up a menu with the settings? I notice that on screenshot2 there is a little gear in the upper right hand side. What happens when you select that?

This is what shows when I finally get to the home screen and tap it.
Nothing there seems to give me an option the stop the screen with the advertisements.
How do launchers work? Basically would just like simple one like I have had on my Google based phone & tablets.

On the menu you posted, you want to look at each option (especially preferences, home edit, and themes) to see if there is something you can do.
Google Now Launcher is another good and very simple launcher. I can't really describe how launchers work. I mean, they're just home screens. It would be better if you downloaded one and just tried it. You're not going to damage your tablet by trying a launcher, and you can always switch back if you don't like it.

Thank you. Meant to say the little gear icon upper top right is the weather settings list.Which I am really not bothered about!
If it is something to do with Asus displays I wondered if it is on all newer Asus tablets and phones? Cant find the answer on Google though.
Regarding Launchers is it just like changing a keyboard then? Done that lol.
Does it give you the option of different wallpapers? Also does it change your settings and app shortcuts I put on my home screens?

I am having problems with my new zenpad 10 300 m tablet,I have owned for 3days ! The issue I am having is the double touch on the home screen to turn on & off the tablet ! It was working, but now I can only turn off the tablet with double tap,but it won't work to shut it off ! I did 2 factory resets & it didn't solve the problem ! Any help would be great !!!
