Galaxy Nexus Watering Hole

What a crazy day. Followed my parents home after dinner at sisters house and my dad took a plate of food over to the neighbors house, she lives alone and in her late 80's. I was about to leave when my dad comes walking down the sidewalk with the plate and said there was no answer. After an hour or so of trying to get in we find a key in her car. I walked in, turned to the right for the bathroom and...well...I found her where she had been laying for probably 24 to 30 hours.

Wow. Not the best way to spend a Thanksgiving Halon. Hopefully she passed peacefully in her sleep.

Haha, congrats for what Pup? ;)

J/K, I guess the news is out, even if his.. ahem... color hasn't changed quite yet.

Congrats MSU on going GREEN!!!

Spent about 4 hours total in Sam's Club today. When I went back a second time the Verizon CSR didn't transfer the upgrade from one phone to the other, so my sister couldn't use her phone for awhile. It took a second call to fix the problem. Along with 15 to 20 of being on hold with Verizon, add another 20 to 25 mintues of going through the whole process.

Anyone running 4.2 on anything and having a relatively bug free experience or are they all kind of rough at this point?

So we had some delicious venison tenderloins wrapped in bacon for dinner tonight :) I've had deer a few times before, but this was definitely the best.

Razor, that sound delicious. My father in law has about 25 deer in his walk-in ready to be butchered. I can always get a few free steaks, but never tenderloins. I may try that though, as venison is so lean the bacon I can just imagine adding both moisture and flavor.

A Christmas Story 2????

Oh no....

They just can't leave well enough alone, can they? If there's a dollar to be made...

EDIT: My weekend task... to consolidate the photos on the dozens of various SD cards into ONE place, sort them, delete the bad ones, and name the good ones. What a JOB!

Good idea Dread... except we have THOUSANDS of pictures and we haven't really budgeted for long-term cloud storage yet. First step is to figure out what all we HAVE, then we'll burn that bridge when we get to it :)

Morning everyone! At work today, babysitting really, company policy that a direct employee has to be present when contractors are working, so I volunteered. Oh well, getting paid OT, plus it gives me a chance to test out the DNA in my abysmal coverage area that is my cube. I will say, it passes the final test, I have pretty reliable 4G again. The signal is weak (-113 to -115), but its good enough to hold it for the most part. And if it does lose it, All I have to do is hold it up above my head for 10 seconds, and it reacquires it. The Nexus took an airplane mode toggle at the very least, and sometimes 2 or 3, before it would reacquire 4G.
