I do my best to keep my wife's Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 clean and running well. Recently, I have seen the addition of a couple .pkg files into the storage/sdcard0/temp directory where there has always been only one of these impossible-to-identify little files (GJPP.pkg in there since 7/23, BWAD.pkg and JLAD.pkg added 09/22).
About the only thing I can think of that we MIGHT have done to the tab on either of the dates mentioned MIGHT have been the removal (uninstallation) of a few unused apps...but I can't be sure of the dates. Perhaps these .pkg files might be some residue from an uninstallation???
I'm sure they're doing no harm and they certainly don't take up much drive space (the largest being only 78k), but I'd like to know if it is safe to delete stuff from the "temp" directory??? To date, I've done nothing with these files in respect (fear) of the Android OS.
