Hello all, long time reader first time poster.
Here's the deal. My lovely GF uses a sprint I phone 5. I use a Samsung galaxy tab 8 WiFi as my primary means of mass communication.
When we attempt to connect via Google hangouts, its an exercise in dissapointment.
I am here to try and learn why this is the case. We cannot sent text messages
Via Google hangouts nor video call! What gives?!
1. She is in my circles as am I in hers.
2. Neither one of us has accidentally or otherwise blocked the other one.
3. I have successfully talked to other friends on I phone 5 as well as iPads.
So I know its not my tablet to blame or incompatability between android and iOS
Description of problem.
Text message; when she tries to text me via Google hangouts the message appears on her screen but it pinwheels and I never see it. When I text her it says message not sent ( try again/delete message) try again produces no results.
When she tries to video call me a message box appears that says CALL ERROR - there was an error. On my end it starts to call but then says abruptly, call ended.
Anyone who could shed some light on this conundrum would be very much thanked because I can't seem to figure it out and Google searches for the answer have not produced satisfying enlightment as to why this is or what if anything could be done to correct the issue. Best regards,
