Root Galaxy rom root?

I'm wondering how I should go about rooting my Behold II running BH Man's Galaxy final.

Should I use Get Root based on 1.6 OTA or will that not work?

For some reason I thought Galaxy final came with root because I noticed superuser in my app cabinet, but when I try Barnacle and Setcpu, I can never get root permission. Thanks.

Since that one is so old I don't remember the fix. But you are already rooted. I would search around and see if you can find the fix. Root is NOT your issue.

Ok, yeah I flashed the Galaxy Final again, and all the apps requiring root worked for a day. Today, nothing can get root access. This makes no sense. How can root just disappear like that without me changing anything?

I also tried rebooting to no avail. It's like my phone is randomly denying me root access or superuser isn't appearing when root is requested. And I was all set for maximum battery optimization with SetCPU and APN Droid but "behold" another problem... Pardon the pun.
