Help Galaxy s2 wifi won't switch off

Hi

The strangest thing happened today. I wanted to switch off wifi and revert to my mobile network. Shifted button to the left from ON to OFF and a second later it switched itself on again. And that's where it is now.

Any help with that?

Thanks

Draad

If you have an app like Juice Defender on it controls Data and Wifi meaning even if you turn it off it will turn it back on thinking you would need to use it.

You can go into JD and disable this feature if you have it.

If this isn't your issue get back with me, and maybe give me what carrier you are on so i can move this thread into the appropriate subforum :)

Hi

Thanks for your feedback. I don't think I have any app in the way you described. However, there maybe another app that has a similar feature. I have "WiFi Finder" and "Free Zone", but I have had them for quite some time. This literally happened today. I downloaded an app called wifi ruler. After hearing from you I decided to delete the app. Still happens.

My carrier is Orange if that can be of any help.

Thanks

Draad
