I have an SGS2 and hav ehad it for a while so I know the ins and outs of it. But tonight I tried to download a photo from an email and it showd up in the task bar as usual that it was downloading. But after about 5 mins it was still downloading.
I went back to my gmail (on the phone) cancelled the download and redownloaded it again. When I looked in my pull down task bar I could see two instances of the same file (p8276476.jpg) downloading at the same time. One copy of the photo downloaded successfully but now the other one is still showing that its downloading.
I've tried:
Ending all tasks
turned my phone off
taken out the battery
installed a task killer and killed all tasks running
when i tap on the "downloading" in the task bar it just takes me back to my home screen
I can't tap and hold on the downloading
I've attached a screenshot of what I can see.
Short of resetting my phone I don't really know what else to do. there's no download manager to stop the downloads so I'm at a loss. Hoping someone has an answer for me
