My work day ends. The wife is at work today so I am Mr. Mom until 9PM. You know that saying that a mother of little boys is up from son up till son down, well, it applies Mr. Moms when the dove works regular 12 hour shifts.

And its fine by me, balances out the time he spends with each of us.:)
 
Still seeing posts out there that talk about frying the secure element if you ever change ROMs. Unsure if this also applies to resetting to factory.

Still scares me personally...
 
You can also use EStrongs File Explorer as a Root Explorer.

Go to prefs, set it to allow r/w on /system (read/write), check on Root Explorer, and set it's home directory to be / instead of /sdcard.

Long-press build.prop, Open As, Text File, choose ES text editor if a list is given.

And like the instructions say - attempt none of that without a nandroid backup first.

K'lin already had root explorer, that's how we tested of her root had worked. (nav to sbin and change mount - was the first thing that came to mind)

The key is to go into Wallet and reset the app - cleans out the account settings.

Then a factory data reset will work.

Afterwards, simply re-enter account info into Wallet, money will still be there.

Deviate and fry the secure element security.

K Lin if your payment finally went thru today regarding your Premium Membership, if your not Gold by tomorrow night I would send Phases another PM on Wednesday.
 
And before ya know it she'll have left home, found a great fella, had a bunch of kids n got a nice job n a house in the sun with a pool, all in the blink of an eye. Ahh.
It only seems like a few days ago our lil k'lin was all nervous about her first root!

Lol... I'm still nervous about the rest.... but Google wallet will be mine on the inside of a week! ....then Google now!

When you do get it working and take Pa'Lin to McDonald's be prepared to not only wow him, but confuse the heck out of the cashier too. :D

Funny story I can't remember if I shared here or not. When Evan first got his N7 I had him buy us lunch as McD's with the $10 on his N7 Wallet account. After he tapped the tab on the sensor there was a ten second delay as the cashier just stared at him before finally asking "did he just pay with his iPad?"

What a range of emotion, to look of pride on Evan's face for buying us lunch, resisting the urge to let the cashier know that it wasn't an iDevice and they were incapable of doing that, plus the utter hilarity at the poor girls confusion.
