It's great as a second little lappy. Since I can't slap an SDK and terminal on it my other lappy will be for all root related stuff. Wish I could dual boot Ubuntu.

You mean like an SSD? All I know is SSD drives are faster than a SATA or whatever else is out there. It has an SD slot in it so that is useful. Also, 100GB extra Drive storage for 2 years. After the two years is up, you can download but not upload.
 
With how thin the thing is, (the 250 dollar samsung) I suspect the memory would be indeed soldered to the mobo. Not a huge issue as the thing accepts SD cards, but that is kind of the point since it is, after all, a cloud based computer :)
 
I have read all the Views about S3, any way I also have the S3 and I love its watering look and feel when I use it.

Morning folks! Our internet/router seem to still be down but somehow I found an open wifi network? Eh, I'll only use it until the lady get's up and I can mess with ours (it's in the bedroom).
Whelp, have my first event I work today for the catering company my wife works for! I think it's a wedding but going to be an interesting night. 3:30pm to 11pm and then get to the restaurant at 4:30am the next morning. :eek:
Going to try and grab a quick nap later this morning. :o
 
It 'll be fun. It concerns bread. As long as you manage to keep your eyes open and you have a safe retrieval plan. Got your bike fixed?

Both bikes are ready to go. Not sure I'll bike to work tomorrow though, it's supposed to rain all day. :(
Nah, this job won't concern bread, it's merely plating dishes for a wedding. Wife's boss is curious whether I'll even like doing it; thinks I'll be too bored with it. :rolleyes:
Well, maybe, but either way it still pays a TON per hour. The only issue is, since it's contract work, I don't pay any taxes on it. I talked to my dad about it and he said to be really careful since I'll be paying all of those taxes at the end of the year. My brother in law worked an entire year solely on contract work and never saved the money to pay in taxes at the end of the year. They got hit big time! Since this is merely supplemental work, I'm not going to worry about it too much. :)

Edit: And, I am an idiot. Realized that "open" wifi network is ours. :o
Must have reset it last night when I was having problems. Whelp, got it renamed and locked up tight again so we're back in business. :)

My new wedding band came in. Remarkably, almost identical to the original. Smaller size is nice. Don't think it'll move around as much when my finger shrinks. Pretty snug right now. :)
Oh hey, got another nice comment on Yelp for our bread at the restaurant!
The three different kinds of bread (that came in the basket) were heavenly. They were baked to perfection in-house (I missed going to restaurants that serve real bread), and my friend and I wolfed all of it down.
