Help Galaxy S6 Edge bug with Android Wear?

Lurker
I have been through 4 S6 Edge's since May because I keep receiving a Bluetooth unexpectedly dropped error whenever connected to a car. I tried multiple cars, with the same result. I ran the gamut with T-Mobile tech support and Samsung support and none of their suggestions worked. I thought for sure that this was a Bluetooth issue with the phone because I had no problems being connected via Bluetooth to my LG G Watch, speakers or headphones. My husband has an S6 Edge as well and just got a new car with Bluetooth capability, he has had no problems and the only difference between the two of us is the smartwatch. I think there may be a communication error between the watch, phone and car trying to communicate at the same time. Does anyone else have Android Wear and a Galaxy S6 edge? Are you having the same problems? The watch and the phone work perfectly together. They stay connected 24-7 and would stay connected if I connected Bluetooth headphones or speakers on top of it. The problem happens when I try to connect to a car. It will work for about 2 minutes then drop Bluetooth to all devices, then connect again and go back and forth. HELP! I really want to be able to use the watch and be able to make calls in my car... Thank you!

I have had nothing but problems with cars and BT technology. Quite simply Android "improves" BT yet car technology doesn't so it quickly becomes incompatible. Have you checked that your particular car is compatible with your phone and OS? I've a BMW and details are listed on their site.
Personally, I've given up on BT in the car.

I have checked with Mazda in regards to my car BT and it is up to date. The problem would occur in rental cars and every other car I've tried- all makes and models. Right now since I haven't installed the Android Wear App, the Bluetooth in my car is working perfectly... Which makes me think it is something with the Android Wear App...

I don't use that app and have problems so perhaps it's a coincidence?

That sounds like "Designed for iPhone" BMW.
