Help Gallery Missing Pictures After ICS Upgrade

Lurker
My Motrola Xoom was upgraded to ICS last week. Now, in my Gallery, it has gotten weird. Many pics are missing from albums, and many pics are duplicated or triplicated in the albums. Xoom is completely stock; no rooting.

Any ideas on what's causing this or how to correct it?

Try clearing data and cache on the gallery app. If you go into settings applications all gallery and the clear data and cache. Then. Reboot.

Thanks! I followed your instructions and the duplicates have been eliminated. But, the black spaces have increased. When I look at the properties of the black pictures, there is a filename and size (most are about 1mb each).

The pics are in the Xoom system memory but I guess they were copied from three SD card???

Other ideas?

Try an app called quick pic. It is free and most people prefer it over the stock gallery.
