I like my S4 UI the way it is. i do not want the Kitkat flat design stuff they put in the S5, and i don't want the white notification icons that are part of it either. i am not rooted, just got this S4 a few weeks ago. i really like Nature UX and TouchWiz the way it is. i disabled 'software update' in settings as soon as i got the phone. but now it's giving me a persistent notification to update and a pop-up to which i hit 'install later'.
i am really concerned that it will update itself on its own eventually, or when i reboot my phone the next time. is there some way that i can disable this and keep version 4.3? i am not the kind of guy who wants the latest OS version and my phone works fine and i'm one of the 'if it ain't broke, don't fix it' kind of people. plus again i HATE the new UI that is part of KitKat. especially the colorless icons.
