It's an add on that Wildstang has been doing for awhile (aka Bunkerbuster). I don't personally use it but how you'd do it is flash the rom, then the DTR zip back to back in recovery. Then reboot to system. In other words, it's flashed just like a rom.

Every time the sync symbol appears in the notification bar...my soul dies.

has anybody gotten it during the day or in the evening?

I recall getting froyo at approx 10pm.

If no gb by fri...what then?
 
All the reports I've read have said "... I got it this morning". I sounds like they're pushing it out overnight. I had asked if anyone had it show up in the daytime, but nothing. Here's hoping tonight's the night.

I appreciate what you're saying and I almost edited my statement to mention my usage today if anything was less than usual. As you say, wait and see though.

I've contemplated ever since the first leak showed up but never had any time to research it. With the entire day off tomorrow, I thought, why the hell not? I'll take the plunge and then I'll be able to join in on all the fun of making fn of the people who still don't get it tomorrow.
 
I keep flashing Gingerbread and it keeps freezing up and rebooting. I got it to work, installed apps, market kept force closing so I rebooted and then it went to hell. Thankfully I had my backup of CM7.

I tried installing while clearing dalvik cache.. then tried with data too. No dice.

Flashing with Rom Manager. Any suggestions? Maybe I'm doing something wrong.

Not sure what's up. On a new rom install, I always wipe data/cache/dalvik all back to back to back, then load the rom. I like to load from within recovery personally but shouldn't really matter.
 
This link has been up on another site for awhile now. There was a post or two that referenced it several pages back. I think a lot of people just missed it.
 
Yesterday I received the GB update and decided to wait until tonight to let it install, I click on menu, about phone, check for update. It's not there.

What do I do now to get the update again.:confused:
