Google + app problems

After I downloaded the google + app to my G2 phone, all my existing photo albums on my phone were replaced with my picassa albums. Now when I take photos with my camera they are not in any album. They are still on my phone (I plugged my phone into my computer to check), but I can't access them from the actual phone. Can anyone help with this? I even removed the google + app, and that didn't help.

I'm not sure I completely understand the issue. What I'm thinking is that you allowed G+ to sync your Picasa account. This means all photos stored on Picasa now show up in the Gallery on your phone. That is, these albums _look_ like they are on the phone but they really are not.

G+ creates a Drop Box album on Picasa for the sync process.

But photos taken with your phone should still stay on your phone... they just show up in a separate album on in the Gallery.

Double check your sync options to make sure they are as you want. Settings -> Account & sync settings and click on your Google account to check what is syncing. This might be throwing you off.
