Root Google Play is it worth it???

I currently have Market 2.3.4 with the market updater app frozen by Titanium Backup because I didn't like the subsequent market. However am I missing anything?

Not really, it's nothing magical.

It looks slightly nicer but at quite a substantial performance hit

It does the same job as the Market but its just a bit flashier. Not a fan tbh.

As long as they don't block access from the old market app at some point I'm happy with what I have.
