Help gps and motorola atrix

Hi gys
I bought a second hand motorola atrix 4g and running ice cream sandwitch in it. Everything works fine apart from GPS, don't seem to be able to log onto satellites. I have done dmesg | grep error but there's no error info about gps error. I have done a factory reset and also re-installed ICS but the faults persists. Does anybody know how to fix it, if not is there a command line that can be used to produce the gps error report so I can email it to the guy who I got the phone from.
