Root Great Read for Rooted Droid X users

Wow..

I promise within 2 weeks, that article will be proven wrong.

For now, I have to bite my tongue.

Fear not X'ers... Our day will come.

You have my word

I am curious about this as well. The vast majority of that was just facts about the DX and whats been done so far.

That would be amazing and I really hope they do, but at this point it's pretty hard not to be skeptical, also considering no one else has said anything about this but you.

yea, i think he meant this will be proven wrong:

"Well, no, it isn't [broken], and it's not really all that likely that it ever will be."

I understand being skeptical. Especially if what I said was from someone who just joined today and only had one post. Check my track record. I dont BS.

Soon, I'll come back to this thread, and say...

I TOLD YA SO!!

:)

haha, have a good week guys. Expect good things to come soon.

I have a good feeling about it :)

Just to make it clear, I was in no way saying that the source(you) was not credible, just that it's tough to believe everything you see on forums like these.

This would be the perfect phone if we were able to flash a custom kernel and I really hope that I see your "I told ya so" post!

It has been 10(almost 11) days since he made that statement, if something is going to happen in the "within 2 weeks" time frame, it had better come quick because it's closing in.

I'm still very hopeful, just not expecting anything to happen, I'm pretty sure that somebody, anybody else would have heard something about this.

_mrbirdman_

hahahaha, found the nuclear launch codes for the old abandoned USSR silo's in the mbm :)

Well it looks like birdman has been up to something in the past few days. If mbm stands for motorola boot mananger then he's probably working on something big.

I am very excited to see what is going to happen in the coming weeks it seems like something really big.

_mrbirdman_ is definitely up to something because the article stated something about the encrypted boot loader having something to do with running first on the cpu and a few days ago he was asking for somebody who knew ARM Asm very very well so he must have something up his sleeve.

There is no doubt in my mind that something is being worked on its just a matter when and what it means for us :)

Follow _Mrbirdman_ on Twitter, some more cryptic messages in the last hour but something big is going to happen real soon. Please try to donate to the developers, they do this for the love of it on their own time so we all can enjoy a true Open Android experience.
